The next series of tests involve parsing of the MIME type, as defined in RFC-2045 (only required if you are parsing the MIME type directly and not using a library). The MIME type can have several parameters, which are defined per MIME type and they appear in no particular order. The first parameter to test is "charset=utf-8", which is the default type of the text/gemini MIME type.
