Spring [1] and I went to the Morikami Museum nd Japanese Gardens [2] in Delray Beach, Florida [3]. Quite the calm and peaceful place, much like Bok Tower [4], only without Saruman and his throngs of Uruk-hai running around the place.
[The Land of Make Believe] [5] [6] [The Land of Make Believe at Ground Level] [7] [8] [“See! I told you! Squid eyeballs!”] [9] [10] [And absolutely NO swimming!] [11] [12] [Sadly this wasn't real, but a cunning fake.] [13] [14] [This isn't the Bridge over the River Kwai.] [15] [16] [Lots of pretty flowers] [17] [18] [A rock garden, and what can't I ignore? That pine cone.] [19] [20] [Waves of rocks in the garden] [21] [22] [Yet another garden for growing rocks.] [23] [24] [There's a museum over there, along with very small trees.] [25] [26] [For some reason, I found this very funny.] [27] [28] [Little trees.] [29] [30] [Rock Balboa has nothing on these guys.] [31] [32] [Wow, a Bonsai forest of one tree!] [33] [34] [These guys were at least 2′ in length!] [35] [36] [One of several waterfalls.] [37] [38] [Boca Raton is overrun with these guys. This wasn't the only fauna we saw though.] [39] [40] [Yet another rock garden.] [41] [42] [This place is lousy with rock gardens!] [43] [44] [And from Japan we hit a pub in Irland.] [45] [46]
Significantly afterwards, in keeping up with our international hopping in South Florida, Spring and I hit a Irish pub for dinner, where I had a traditinal Irish Fish-n-chips, and Spring had a spinage dip with potatoes, which prompted us to ask if the Irish settled Idaho.
