I disagree with the assertions about ugliness. I *prefer* gemini for the cleanliness of the presentation.
The other points are interesting, but I don't feel that strongly about them, since my needs are met with how it currently sits.
But I think it's good and healthy to review and revise.

And also, rendering is up to the client. So some clients can be nicer than others.
