A shock was detected in the solar wind data (ACE and DSCOVR) at around 04:13 UTC on Apr 19. The interplanetary magnetic field jumped from 6 nT to 10 nT, then rapidly increased and reached 15 nT. The solar wind speed jumped from 330 km/s to 370 km/s. The shock probably marks the arrival of the faint partial halo CME from Apr 15. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be disturbed with active to minor storm conditions possible depending on the Bz.
