An X1.1-class flare with start time 15:40 UTC, end time 15:54 UTC and peak time 15:48 UTC on Feb 11th was produced by NOAA AR 3217 near the East limb. This region produced multiple M-class flares in the hours leading up to the X-class flare. Further M-class flares are likely with chances for more isolated X-class flaring from several complex active regions on the visible solar disc in the next 24 hours.
