25th AmiWest is just around the corner

Today in Dublin is quite rainy and dark, but tomorrow I am travelling to sunny California for the 25th AmiWest which will happen this weekend. AmiWest is one of the oldest Amiga events and most importantly where the active companies and groups make announcements for forthcoming plans and crucial discussions take place.

I always wanted to be there, but I never managed to. This time though, if everything goes well, I will be able to attend it, and for that, I need to thank the "Friends of Amiwest" group.

> Each year the Friends of Amiwest cover the costs for an international OS4 developer to attend Amiwest as their guest.

I am honoured that they chose me to attend AmiWest this year. This will also allow me to make my presentation in person this time which will be about the "WebKit-based browser for AmigaOS 4 initiative" and the team behind it. My presentation will be this Saturday the 22nd. During AmiWest there are going to be plenty of very interesting presentations by a lot of people, from all around the world, and I strongly recommend you not miss any of these. There is also a full schedule announced.

A dream of mine is coming true this weekend, and I am sure I am going to have fun.
