100 Day Writing Challenge

So... I'm back! Gee, it's only been like 2 years since I last wrote a post here. Turns out raising a small toddler (she's doing great) takes up a lot of your free time. Who knew, right?

Anyway, the reason that I'm writing here again is that I've decided that I want to challenge myself to do more writing. As a result, I chosen to do (very late) Kev Quirk's 100 days to offload challenge.

100 days to offload site

The idea is that you make a commitment to post 100 times on your personal blog over the course of the next 365 days. The length or content of those posts aren't important, just that you get to writing.

I have a perfectionist attitude towards my writing that means that even when I can find something that my inner critic deems worthy of writing about (he's kind of a jerk) the posts about them, often die as a draft. I'm hoping that committing to writing 100 posts in a year will force me to actually start writing, not just keep thinking or procrastinating on my writing. I guess we'll see.

Now I'm not going to cheat and count this is as my 1st post (it's probably not cheating to do so, but I've got a few ideas I want to write about already.) SO, I'll catch you all in the next post!
