What is this?

I'm not entirely sure what I'm gonna do with this place. I've begun playing around with PICO-8 and while I have posted a bit about that on my [cohost], I'm still not sure if that's the right place. Plus I can't embed games over there. I think a self-hosted static site makes the most sense. I'm using [jekyll] to generate the site from markdown, which is the lowest friction option I've found.

I've also been sitting on some essays and programming projects and things that I might like to put up somewhere and even write about.

What is this not?

This will not be a personal blog or diary of any sort, my time of keeping a public journal is long over. These days I vastly prefer the tactile sensation of a nice fountain pen on really good paper. But for more technical discussions, and for a place to "publish" my stuff, as it were, my nice paper diaries just don't cut it.
