Reply: It's super-primitive, there's no database, a bash script uses 'head' and 'tail' commands to insert the new message directly into this file 8 lines from the top, then emails me. That also means I can directly edit replies like this into it. It's adapted from the code at tilde.club/~filip/tech/script/gemini_guestbook/gemini_guestbook.gmi
