Trying out Olivetti mode for writing gemtext today instead of just the ordinary visual-line-mode. My Emacs config for writing this now looks like this:

It's very comfy.
Emacs and Olivetti mode behaves a bit strange if I move around the window or if I make it fullscreen and then back to regular size. Not sure what that is about...
I actually managed to get Emacs to segfault as well. That very rarely happens. Might be related to the strange behaviour...
Didn't make it to the fencing in the park today. Stayed late at work and got home really hungry and with a really hungry family as well. Made a really nice chana masala with white rice.
I'll see if I can make it next week. After that we will probably move out to the summer house. I'll get some practice on the summer house lawn, of course, but doing solo drills is not the same thing as actually having a live opponent.
Going to visit the possible new office tomorrow. It's really just across the street from my current office!
It's Sweden's national day next week. On my Monday off! Dammit. Which means everyone is off from work, which is good, I suppose. I'll celebrate by going to a friend's birthday party this year.
Many years ago we celebrated the national day by going on a picnic at the memorial stone of the Klågerup riots of 1811. It was a year of a series of rebellions mostly because of forced conscription to the military. About 40 people died when the army attacked at Klågerup and many wounded died soon afterwards in prison or were executed.
A colleague is at the Electromagnet Field hacker camp in the UK right now. Looks really nice:
Certainly looks nicer than the current Security Fest conference which, yes, a lot of other colleagues are at.

I haven't been on any of the hacker summer camps, but I have friends who have been on several of the camps in the Netherlands, CCCamp, and Bornhack.
