In a time when Grunge was eating the world, Sister Hazel released this semi-acoustic record of folk-inspired pop rock songs. While 1997's "...Somewhere More Familiar", which sounds more like a Hootie and the Blowfish record, contained their hit song "All For You", this eponymous album features a great collection of catchy songs with a laid back feel. The production is reserved, and allows the great vocal harmonies and shimmering guitars to come through. A possibly overlooked classic.
