This is a cool idea for geminispace; I like it. Since my ~official~ capsule is at

circumlunar,

this will be an unstructured place for me to dump things while I'm at work or away from easily being able to update that space.

I guess I should keep with tradition on gemlog.blue and comment on the experience: I like it! I like the colorscheme and the authoring flow. One thing I'd like that hasn't been mentioned yet is how it'd be nice to have a geminispace gateway (a ~stargate~ ?!) on gemlog.blue, so users can browse geminispace and author posts all at once. I think that would be a killer feature. Other than that, I'm happy with this.

What else is going on today? I just found out about what is apparently the best tomato sauce ever, from Marcella Hazan:

Ingredients

2c canned tomatoes, cut up with juice

5T butter

1 medium onion, peeled and cut in half

Method

Put the tomatoes, butter, onion, and a pinch of salt in a pot, and cook uncovered at a very slow, but steady simmer for 45 minutes, or until the fat floats free from the tomato. Stir from time to time, smashing tomato bits with the back of a spoon. Discard the onion before serving over pasta (gnocchi works well).

Apparently, that's *it*! I'm very excited to try it.

I also want to read *Etymologicon* at some point. I'm putting it here so I don't forget.
