Compile the extracted sources:

Install the package to a temporary install directory:

Install the temporary files to the live filesystem:
ebuild {path/to/file.ebuild} qmerge
Fetch, unpack, compile, install and qmerge the specified ebuild file:
ebuild {path/to/file.ebuild} merge
