The end of the United Queendom 👑

I'm moderately against monarchy, but I've lived in one all my life, so I'm used to it. The queen didn't seem like an objectionable person, and it's a sad thing that she died. But the news media have gone bananas. There's queen coverage everywhere. Even the Formula 1 presenter on TV wore black and explained that even though it was a sad time, it was ok for the Grand Prix to go ahead.

People have been arrested for protesting about the new king. A man holding up a blank sheet of paper was told he'd be arrested if he wrote "Not my king" on it (and he posted a video of his discussion with the police to prove it). Someone else was arrested for shouting "Who elected him?" (and later de-arrested, which I didn't know was possible). Discussion of freedom of speech got a bit more concrete.

My protest idea is to print a t-shirt with a photo of Elvis Presley and "Not my king either". Subtle enough to avoid arrest?

Now, can we all get back to normal, please!

Tangentially, the internet tells me that United Queendom is a drag queen evening.
