Christmas nearly over (and hashtags) 🎄

The 12 days of Christmas overlap with going back to work in January. With the govt's "plan B" I'm back working from home again, But we still have a tree and extra family members here. I saw a news video about a goat farmer who collected old Christmas trees and fed them to her goats. They seemed quite excited about eating both the needles and the bark.

The first work task of the year is trying to figure out how to fix a web front end; one of those single-page JS monstrosities that you can get away from by coming to Geminispace. I'm hampered by knowing very little front end stuff, but I have to do this because the dev who wrote it left. So far I've spent two days and achieved nothing.

I'd much rather be fixing stuff with my hashtag crawler. I noticed that pages from techrights.org were about 50% hashtags so I petulantly removed those from the index. I might get rid of some of the numeric ones that are just code snippets that look like hashtags, but that's harder because I'd have to look at each one individually.
