Clink of ice 🍹

I heard somewhere that the queen has spherical ice in her drinks because she doesn't like the clinking noise. That's foolish of her. I want all the sensations. I'm currenty drinking dark rum with cassis and lemonade, and every time I pick it up, the ice clinks and my ears let me know there's a cool drink coming.

How do you make spherical ice, any way? My ice cubes are elephant shaped. We have a rubber ice tray that I think someone gave us. They don't stay elephant shaped for long enough that you'd know by looking in the glass, but maybe the protruberances make them extra clinky?
