Here's my answers for July.
The co-op near my house sells fresh bread. The one to get is olive bread. It's just bread with olives in, but it's really hard to stop eating it once you start.
They also sell chili relish. You can put it with anything to give it a kick, but I eat it like spicy jam.
I'm struggling to get past two. I don't buy much. Veg, maybe?
I've been reading The Decameron. It's a bit like a medieval Italian version of Arabian Nights. Some people gather to tell stories. I came across it because they're gsthering to escape a plague, which is topical. Most of the stories are interesting. There's a surprising amount of sex. You have to accept their view that people have their place in the world, and if a rich person loses their position, it's a satisfying ending to have them restored to wealth and position.
No. I remember once being in Athens, and outside a big post office there was a table where you could write letters and postcards. Inset into the table were little rollers you could run your stamp over to wet the back so you didn't have to lick them.
Writing software. I also help out in a youth organisation. There's two things that are a long way apart.
I can't think of any, but I was once nearly run over by Paul McCartney. Not paying attention, I stepped off the pavement by Covent Garden tube station, and he had to stop his Rolls Royce quite suddenly.
