Introduction and Preview!

Hi everybody, welcome to my gemlog where I'm gonna leave my informal ramblings about history, capital, and whatever else comes to mind. I would say I'm probably less technologically gifted than most of the people on geminispace, so I am looking forward to bringing the ~normie perspective~ to gemini. Anyway, I'm looking forward to posting on the tiny critique that William Clare Roberts gives of Michael Heinrich in Marx's Inferno, which has bothered me for being incredibly unkind to Heinrich (and Moishe Postone) and revealing of a deficiency in WCR's understanding of the fetish character of the commodity.

I would also like to write about contemporary historiographic debates, and I'm really interested in the current push towards a development of a new method of history. We may yet be creating a whole new field!
