When DHL started to setup pickup machines for parcels, called packstation, I signed up quite soon (some time before 2012), because the post man or woman would ring the bell in vain --- almost always.
Yesterday I received notice that DHL will change their mode of operation in such a way, that the usage of the DHL App (on a smartphone, I guess) becomes mandatory by 2022-04-01. So our ways will part due to the lack of a smartphone in my possession. In principle I could make a fuzz about discriminating (i.e. excluce) folks like me, who intently do not carry around a machine called smart phone. And some poor soul had to read my complaint email message. In the meantime I even found the "delete this account" --- in the "account security" tab. Go figure.
