Well, I done screwed up

While I was updating my custom script that converts my Amfora bookmarks into gemtext, I stumbled into a problem of my own creation. I have a local copy of my capsule on my laptop, but I haven't been using it since I moved my capsule to the cloud. I've been doing all of my edits there. This is turned out to be problematic when I did not read an rsync command closely enough to realize it was syncing my entire capsule to the local copy.

As a result, I lost the gemlog post about the transition to the cloud as well as several changes to my index page. It sucks. It really sucks. But this is something I'll have to deal with later since I already had other plans post the completion of my bookmark page updater.

I will stick to modifying the local copy in the future, and maybe I'll consider using a local git repo to protect against stuff like this.
