2020-10-15 Truth and Knowledge in the Garden of Eden

As with the Mark 10:19 commandments being true even though they are embedded in a premodern sacred library, I wonder if truth regarding the nature of evil isn't embedded in the fall of man story in Genesis. In that story, the serpent tempts Eve, the first woman, to eat fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and she in turn talks Adam, the first man, into eating of it against God's commandment, the violation of which introduces sin and death into the world.

The emergent Woke religion is in a rebelious war on God (the patriarchy as it calls him). It asserts its rights to adultery, murder, theft, false witness, and dishonor of parents as means in its pursuit of happiness (its will to power).
