Another warm, sunny, low-stress start to the weekend. I slept in (again - no suprise) and got up just in time to S/S/S and meet a friend for a bike ride for a few hours. We decided to hit up a small town we haven't been to in a while and grab some lunch. The restaurant was at about 75 percent capacity so it worked out really well. Nobody was rushed or over-worked and our food came out hot and promptly. We had a nice conversation about many things, but he had a family committment to keep in the afternoon so we headed back after lunch. It was a nice ride/lunch for about 6 hours with almost perfect weather.

I got home in time to run to the grocery store for some wings and cole slaw and got the wings started while I cut the grass. We probably could have waited a few more days on the grass, but I don't have much time for that during the week. And did I mention the perfect weather?

After dinner I was going to meet up with a friend to look at some equipment he had for sale but he was temporarily unreachable, so I just went by the parts store and got the oil and filter to change the oil in the pick-up. $72.00 for oil and a filter... If I paid somebody to change it, it would probably be over $100.00!

While I was out I got some gas for the pick-up and lawn mower... another expensive purchase! I touched base with #1 son and make some arrangements for tomorrow and had a good conversation with him as well.

I finally got in touch with the equipment seller but just made plans to see it later and went on home. Now I'm finishing up the evening by washing/drying 3 loads of clothes, vacuuming the house and doing about an hour or so on my programming lesson. Nice productive but low-stressful day!
