GARDAÍ are appealing for witnesses following the discharge of a firearm
in Drombanna, Limerick on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed that gardaí responded to
reports of shots fired at a residence at approximately 9pm that
evening.
Criminal damage occurred at the property and no persons were injured
during the incident.
Investigating gardaí in Roxboro Garda Station are appealing to any
person who may have information in relation to this incident to contact
them.
“Any person who was in the Drombanna, Rathurd, Ballyclough, Ballyneety
and surrounding areas on Saturday, March 23, between 8.45pm – 9.15pm
and who may have mobile phone or dash cam footage, is asked to make
this available to gardaí,” the spokesperson said.
In particular, Gardaí, are looking to speak with anyone who may have
seen a silver hatchback Mercedes at any of these locations.
Any person who may have information or footage is asked to contact
Roxboro Garda Station on 061 214 340, the Garda Confidential Line on
1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
“Investigations are ongoing,” the spokesperson said.
