I’ll carry your memory like a talisman

How many people do we meet in our lives who could be our “soulmates” (whatever that means)? People who we share something very crucial in common with – who, if the timing was right, could have become one of our very favorite people to spend our lives with.

Instead, for some reason or another, the world pushes us to say goodbye, and they fade into nothing more than an occassional remembrance, a warm well-wish.
