A polyamorous family claim they have a great way of life because the 'house is always clean' and they 'have multiple income streams'.

Mazayah Andrews, 38, and his partners Stephanie Almonte, 30, Rosa Zelaya, 30, and Dezeray Carrera, 23, from Miami, Florida, joined Rylan Clark and Rochelle Humes via video link on This Morning to speak about their unconventional relationship.

Stephanie revealed she initially met Mazayah in 2014 and the pair began a monogamous relationship in 2016. However, after two years together the couple split and Mazayah began dating Rosa.

Stephanie admitted she wasn't ready to give up on the relationship because she was pregnant at the time with Mazayah's baby.

Speaking on the show she said: 'I really wanted to rekindle my relationship with him because I was pregnant and I was not letting him go, so I took full advantage of still trying to get back with him.

Mazayah, was initially in a relationship with Stephanie (right) before dating Rosa (second right). They became a throuple and were joined by Dezeray (left) last year

'When he broke up with Rosa, we all got together and we were like, "Hey, I want to be with you, she wants to be with you, I like girls, as long as that what makes you happy, we are happy''.'

From 2019, Mazayah, Stephanie, and Rosa had been dating each other in a throuple, before they decided to welcome Dezeray into the relationship last year.

Stephanie added: 'Don't get me wrong, through the whole course of me being pregnant and seeing he was with another woman, I did feel jealous, I was like :''That's the girl who took my man, I want my man back''. That's how I felt at the beginning.

'But when I realised that she makes him happy in other areas that I wasn't really making him happy, in terms of communication and expressing my feelings at the time, I realised why would I be jealous of that? She could help me be a better person.'

Mazayah added that a polyamorous relationship can provide unconditional love and support.

He said: 'Poly is nurturing, poly is caring, poly is teamwork. Even if you are pregnant it is great to have another sister wife with you to help you go through things that you are going through that a man won't be able to help with.

'It helps everyone in the household, you don't have to worry about a babysitter, you don't have to worry about who is going to do this and do that. The house is always clean, we have multiple houses, condos and properties, so we thrive with each other in the household.'

Rosa added: 'From my perspective it was something that I understood how other woman could go head and please the man that I am in love with, because they offer certain qualities, so I understand as I man what really makes you happy and seeing that vision coming together.

Mazayah (left) asked people to understand that there are multiple ways to have relationships and urged people to think outside the belief system which they 'inherited'

'It was something to me that was life changing from the moment that I started understanding the vision.'

Last year Dezeray was welcomed into the relationship and she said the adjustment was surprisingly smooth.

She said: ‘It wasn’t as hard as you would think. I am used to getting to know more than one person at a time, the challenge is exciting for me

'Being in a poly relationship is everything I ever wanted. I feel like I manifested it, it came pretty easy to me.'

Between all four of them they have 11 children who all live under the same roof and the kids enjoy playing together.

He said: 'You don't have to be stuck to one thing, or do what was passed down through a generation who really didn’t have access to the things we do now.

'Your religion or whatever you are in now, isn't your own, it was passed down from your great grandfather, grandfather, mother all the way down to yourself, so if you really sit down and think about it, you inherited a religion.

'Always go out there and be yourself, because there is more to that education that we had prior, compared to what we have now it's beyond different.'
