If the Conservative Party wins the next United Kingdom general election, will there be a return to the policies of the Cameron era?

No. Cameron miscalculated badly but he wasn't a complete lying incompetent.

The Conservative Party is now wedded inextricably to Brexit and that means they have to keep selecting complete lying incompetents

to keep the Brexit nonsense alive. Of course what they should do, and inevitably eventually will do, is elect a leader who admits it

was a balls-up of truly epic proportions. But they are not there yet. Maybe at the next GE they will get a good kicking and slink off

and do a stretch of naval gazing.

But if they win, they will probably do so because Starmer fucks up at the last minute or something weird happens that no one predicted.

Maybe Argentina will invade the Isle of Wight this time, and save Liz Truss' sorry arse. Who knows? Whatever, if they win, it will so

that more complete lying incompetents can run the country, in utter denial of the bleeding' obvious for a bit longer.
