New...
I'm two weeks into my new job (and really loving it!) and decided to pick up a ZSA Moonlander. I've been using it for a few days now and am enjoying it! I'm no stranger to split ortholinear keyboards, but it has been 5 or 6 years since the last time I used one. There were two primary drivers for the switching: interest and ergonomics.
When I switched back to a normal keyboard years ago it was primarily driven by the fact that I was traveling for work _a lot_ and was suffering from switching back and forth between a laptop keyboard and a split ortho board. The Moonlander is interesting to me because its billed as a portable keyboard, while still providing a lot of flexibility. So that's the primary "why".
The other reason is I'm a terrible touch typist, and I'm hoping to use this as an opportunity to improve that.
I started a new job a few weeks back and it is really interesting - its an all-new domain to me (energy market) - and I love a challenge. It is a pretty small company, which sounds really nice to me after my previous job at a large tech company.
We are knee-deep into our hunt for permanent housing in the greater Boston area. The market is nuts.
