Landscaping

We're getting a patio extension put in today, plus landscaping in the back yard. This is a project we've been putting off for a while, I'm glad to see it finally happening! Unfortunately, the work is a bit distracting - we'll see how much I get to today...

Most of the last hour was spent taking care of landscaping stuff, getting things cleaned and ready, plus securing access for their equipment. I can't believe how fast this is moving.

Well, we have quite the operation going on over here, 6 or 7 workers in the yard, two ditch witches motoring around at top speed. Our poor dog is so concerned. Well kid, this is as much for you as it is for us! Anyway, no dev the last hour - landscaping stuff, plus some new gym equipment came in, so I figured I would unbox and set it up.

I spent a few hours in the late afternoon and evening continuing with my applied analysis of Godot, basically just implementing throwaway mechanics in a test application. Reusable components are going to be great. One annoyance about Godot - adding plugins/extensions is more trouble than I would've anticipated. Oh well.

BTW, the yard came out great. The workers whipped out all of the work between 8:30a and 5:00p, which was wonderful. I can't wait to enjoy my new back yard!
