The Stream

Sometimes when I'm sitting alone in a nice place and my mood is ripe for that sort of things, I get to connect to my past and future selves. They just appear somewhere in the sky (because I tend to look at the sky then) from similar moments in different times and we have a little conversation. What's up? Oh you from like 5 years ago, you did not expect things to move this way, right? Hey you in 10 years, so how did this mess unfold? Are you happy there? Any hints?

It's nice because I just know that past selves have been talking to my present self, and that futures selves will resume the conversation when the time is right. Sometimes I even remember what I said so I can finally answer an anxious past me.

We're in June and the sunsets are beautiful, even in this concrete hell scape. I had to experience this a few days ago and it felt great.
