Oath of solarpunk

It's hard to justify buying anything new when used alternatives are for sale, considering on one hand the cost of producing anything related to electronics and computers, and on the other hand the fact that I already have several computers of different kinds. Thus:

I will not buy new computers, computer parts or electronic gadgets unless they have been really trivial to produce.

If I need a replacement, I will look for secondhand markets and refurbished items stores.

Ideally, I will not replace anything and just reuse things I already have.

Even more ideally, I will attempt to repair things myself or with local help.

Buying specific electronics that are part of a bigger reusage/repair project is fine as long as the costs have been weighted.

Saturday the 7th of May, 2022, but I've been doing that for months now :)
