i have a """"market socialist"""" irl friend who is functionally socdem even if he actually believes in something marginally more radical. he's constantly trying to convince me to vote. today, he's already been explaining at lunch why joe biden wont have actually done any of the stuff socdems claim he will by 2024 lol

like he, and every socdem on twitter, are already like "dang it sure sucks that biden will be president but dems won't control the senate so they won't accomplish any of the stuff we wanted,, heck"

wowee sure is a shame biden isnt going to help literally anyone and that this is exclusively the case because of that rotten no-good senate and not for literally any other imaginable reason

i guess one positive of biden winning is that im allowed to make fun of him on twitter for a few weeks until the 2024 election cycle starts up again in like february 2021 and im expected to fall back into line behind him as the epic cool hero he is for standing up to bad trump fascism or else im the real fascist
