I generally claim that my hobby is reading boring books. This elicits varied responses from those around me.
Nevertheless, I tend end up with quite a few books on my radar, particularly related to computing, computer security, maths, and so on.
I will list titles I have collected here. I would not consider this a curated, or particularly ordered, list. Rather, it's a mishmash of potentially interesting reads.
If you wish to partake in my boring books, you are welcome to join me as I spiral into insanity, bankruptcy, and logistical nightmares!
As for determining which books I have
Read
Read some of
Kept handy for reference purposes
Kept on my radar for future reading
Purchased out of sheer curiosity
Purchased because I like books
Purchased because I have too much money
Used as decoration
Used to impress visitors
Used to scare visitors
Used as expensive paper weights
Kept as advanced dust collectors
Used to give the illusion that I am a very smart, well-read, and handsome person
Used to feed an endless capitalism-fuelled desire for new things
Used to satisfy some twisted masochistic inclinations
Obtained because why not?
