Howdy to Solderpunk and Shufei!

I just want to say a big "Howdy" and welcome back to the Smolnet to Solderpunk and Shufei. Shufei's been back a little longer, but her September ROOFLOCH posts have been particularly inspiring. She's doing some *serious* off-grid stuff.

As I noted before, I didn't manage to ROOPHLOCH this year, but I'm extremely glad that it was what brought Solderpunk back from the edge of going the way of Why the lucky stiff.

I've been quite overwhelmed with being back at work in person (as little sense as that makes, with COVID rates being back up to where they were when I was working remotely), and with general householder stuff. And maybe a little depression, triggered by my work environment? In any case, I feel like I'm wasting my Spooktober, though I'm trying to crawl out of it a little bit.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who is regularly posting to the Smolnet, but especially to those two luminaries. I owe you all an egg cream.
