The park

A woman in a yellow raincoat is walking up the hill backwards. I keep expecting her to stop and turn around, but she doesn't. She keeps carefully placing one foot behind the last in a simple attempt to rewind. She's climbed half the hill now.

I consider waiting, but it's slow progress. I give up before she does and head home.

At the top of the park, the litter bin has a fresh note:

> Please come back. I'm sorry about what happened before. ♥
