I'm a fan of the subscribable Gemtext format because it's easier for authors and feels more Gemini-like than Atom or RSS. I started off trying to add this functionality as an option in gmsfn, a previous project which doesn't care about formatting or dates, but it became a bit clunky and unweildy so I separated it. Both projects are based on gmni and have a similar structure.
