It will be sketchy javascript that breaks a form on a government agency site that requires you to fill in said form or else print a pdf and send it in via snailmail. Then you can bug report that and never hear back about it.

I generally use two browsers:

A high-security, ad- and tracking- blocking browser for browsing the useless internet sites, and

A zero-security, full javascript, no plugins browser for banking.

When I make a payment, I disable the security. It never works when the adblocker is enabled.

Oh, Iceraven is nice. I love the "suspend inactive tabs" option, I don't think Fennec has that. Thanks for the rec.

@johan Ideally, yes; however it seems more like 80% of the sites I visit are thoroughly busted without JS enabled.

The portal I have to use for paying rent, every site that sells event tickets, every squarespace site for some reason, Patreon, anything that uses Cloudflare... 😒 I am trying to stick it out and just browse less often, which is a net positive for my mental health at least.

Overall I'm enjoying Iceraven so far. Its UI well polished and easy to use, and I enjoy how easy it is to set up add-ons.

— It doesn't support hardware U2F keys unfortunately, but that's more the fault of Google

Switching to Iceraven — I'm switching my default Android browser from Chrome to Iceraven. I appreciate how snappy the UI and add-on features are (thanks to Firefox Fenix), and the security features are impressive.
