For bluetooth HiDs, you can do this: 1. Pair in Linux, 2. Pair in Windows. 3. Boot in Linux, mount the windows partition. 4. Use a registry browser to get the window key (which is now active). 5. Copy that key to your Linux config. I don't have the details but you can google it :)

That sounds like a bad joke...
@stack if Windows is involved, it can both be a bad joke and be the only solution at the same time. Much like Windows itself.
Also bluetooth mices just suck in a dual boot setup. Connected to Windows, back on Linux, I've to connect again. And the entire connection proccess is just a night mare. Wanted to listen to my echo dot over bluetooth, the interferences make it impossible to enjoy. I don't know which speaker to get which has similiar quality to that cheap device.
