What's your usual routine though? I would feel... suffocated if I had to go through my day to day wearing a tie.

I walk through our neighborhood typically 2 - 3 miles per day, yesterday I was out mowing and edging the lawn, today I walked over to the supermarket to get groceries, tomorrow I'll be walking to the doctor's office and then the pharmacy. I'm retired, but my life is not solely sitting in my rocking chair waiting for something worthwhile to appear on TV. I don't find the tie suffocating, perhaps I'm not tying it tightly enough.

Sounds like a pretty active routine, but I'm assuming you don't have your tie on during all of that. If you mow your lawn wearing a tie you are definitely on another level!

Yes, the tie stays on. Too lazy to take it off and then put it back on -- why add extra effort? :-)
