Well, I took part in the #oldcomputerchallenge this year. Though I found I didn't really have enough free time to feel like I sufficiently.participated. I did discover a few things though... 1) bsd.sp will not relink the kernel successfully, 2) I think I want to go full tty for a bit, 3) IRC is great and I don't know why I never got in to it before, 4) ircii could do with a couple.of QoL improvements.

IRC is the best, been using it on and off since the 90's. Which server/channels did you have such great interactions in? :)

@Ruby_Witch a housemate of mine around 99 was into irc in a big way but I never really got into it. I was on #oldcomputerchallenge on irc.libera.chat. Folks seemed pretty friendly and I don't think I've been around so many people with an interest in niche operating systems such as Haiku and Plan9 before.
