Yes, there are some alternative servers running, but to get it working is complicated having the modem. (You need a RaspberyPi IIRC). There is even a site to see who is online playing what.

Sold my broadband adapter some years ago. The price of them are pretty crazy this day. But I heard PSO is still going.
Anyone playing any Dreamcast games online? I have the modem but the setup seems kinda complicated.
