@gritty, ah i see. i don't frequent the orange site, so i guess i am out of the loop. sorry!
This place is super cool, but it does feel a bit like its stretching the protocol and text format to the absolute limit
@20k If you're talking about BBS, I politely disagree; I think it's a showcase of what's possible with only text. sure the protocol won't let it scale up for mass use but I'm sure it was never intended for that type of use. at that point it should split off into smaller BBSs.

@20k forums are mostly text, nothing wrong here.
Oh look, more hate from the web. The funny thing is that this negative press still brings new people. How many times will this place get ridiculed? Don't care, I'm still staying.
