What is the monospace font you most use?

I've been using DejaVu Sans as long as I can remember. I've tried others of course, but this one's just clean and easy on the eyes.
I can't get over JetBrains Mono. For a long time now.
I've been happy with Iosevka for a couple of years. Before that I used Inconsolata for a nice old-timey feel.
DejaVu Sans Mono... I tried a bunch of 'programmer's' fonts, but it became old to tweak fonts. I seem to set up a new machine at least once a year, and can no longer be bothered.
I've been using Iosevka and Commit Mono lately.
Thanks for all the replies
In my terminal, I mostly use non free font called cartograph CF
But for longer texts it it is a bit exhausting, so I am looking for other fonts. JetBrains Mono seems promising.
Iosevka or Proggy
heh, btw i have contributed to dejavu sans. (:
SourceCode Pro
Comic Mono, not even as a joke, it's super easy for me to read
A visual comparison showing actual code of 28 fonts can be found on Tim Brayβs website. It covers most peopleβs favorite fonts of the last decade:
@michaelnordmeyer: thanks! Hack seems like a clear winner there!
I code only with proportional fonts. I think I kicked off one of the biggest Gemini discussion threads this year when I posted about it ;)
Right now I use Verdana.
I do use a fixed width font in the terminal, it's DejaVu Sans Mono.
yeah and my terminal (i program in vim) has dejavu sans mono font. (:
