backlogs

I've been making a major push to work through my backlog. It's been really fun revisiting these games I enjoyed but put down for one reason or another. I've got a massive backlog, so my goal this year is to work through as much of it as possible and purchase as few new games as possible this year.

Got anything big on your backlog you've been meaning to get back to?

Yeah, not that long a list though.

Here's a short sample off the top of my head in no particular order.

-Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced (gba)

-Ape Escape (ps)

-The Dark Spire (nds)

-Spyro: Season of Ice (gba)

-Harvest Moon GBC (gb)

I've kinda gotten away from new games in the last few years. Too many disapointments and rampant greed ruining games before they even come out. Even the idie scene has gone to pot.

I've started playing good games from years past. Why risk time and money on what in all probability is going to be crap. when I can play games that have been time tested as good? Just because time has passed, doesn't make a game any less fun to play.

Oh, I almost forgot one. For new-ish gams, I've been meaning to get back to SOMA. I made it most of the way through, I just haven't beaten it yet.
