Do you encrypt your mails? If so, how did you overcome the intertia of your people network to install mail encryption?

Only if someone sends me encrypted mail. I hesitate to even sign the emails I send because a few times there has been confusion about what the attached signature file is. It is unfortunate...


IMO, all emails should probably be encrypted nowadays as a spam-fighting measure, so we can just block all unencrypted mails. But I can see the value of email as a ubiquitous and cheap broadcasting medium, useful for things like the email notifications here on this capsule. 🤷‍

@skyjake I share the sentiment. encrypting email should be the norm by now, at least here it is the absolute exception though. And not just in personal conversations, in corporate mails as well, in tax matters, ... everywhere. I'm frankly not sure whether or not it is a barrier of entry (there certainly is one) or a ill-perceived lack of awareness.
