Who's excited for Villeneuve's Dune Part 2?

The first one got me to re-read the original book series up to Heretics of Dune (where I stalled half-way...). I particularly liked the audio and music; great atmosphere. It lost some momentum in the end, but what can you do, given the story.

I saw a preview for it recently and am excited as well. a lot of folks I know didn't like it but they're not scifi nerds. November it comes out? so far away.

It's my favorite sci-fi story/series and I'm utterly thrilled for part 2. It's so great seeing it done justice on screen. I'm trying to avoid watching any trailers so I can react to everything for the first time in that moment in the theater. Can't wait!

Herbert's worldbuilding holds up amazingly well nearly 60 years later...

I just realized the first book was published in 1965. A very familiar number for Geminauts!

November 3rd release date - can't wait! Part 1 is so much better than the previous film or the series. Beautiful filming.

Simply can't wait! Amusingly, it was the soundtrack that hooked me. It was another year or two until I finally watched the film.
