Q: What is the canonical water cooler place in Geminispace?

I'm wondering if I should start a tinylog and use gtl to stay in touch with people using a decentralized microblog. Or use the fediverse more. Maybe geminispace.org or…

Essentially everything, which I want to share, for which a gemlog might not be the right place.

Station is established and familiar, but quite "generic chat" type of place, and perhaps not Gemini-focused enough.

gs.org is tailor-made for this, but very new.

Tinylogs are great because they're decentralized and simple static pages essentially, but we need more clients to improve the UX.

IRC is a "simple" chatroom and too synchronous (time zones, etc.). I don't/can't partake myself.

Fediverse (hashtag #gemini) works pretty well IMO, but is web-oriented or requires an app.

I suggest starting a tinylog even if you only update it infrequently and feel like no one is reading it. Having a permanent record of your (random) thoughts is great.
