Yesterday I visited my main system administration client and upgraded seven of his bare metal servers to FreeBSD 13.2 from 13.1. It went really well with only a few minor hiccups. This time I did practice upgrades by restoring backups onto isolated Bhyve virtual machines. That helped me work through any issues before working on the production hardware. BVCP is a great web interface to Bhyve. I recommend that you take a look.
