Hi @raek! Is directionality of the antenna an issue?

@stack: Not that I can tell? Since the long wire segment is roughly north-south, I expected the RF to go east-west. (I live in Linköping, Sweden.) But actually I've had the most luck working stations around southern France, southern Germany, northern Italy, Romania and Bulgaria, i.e. in the direction along the long wire segment, opposite to what I expected. I briefly tried MMANA and it seems like the vertical parts radiate at a low angle (good for DX, I've heard).

Hmm. I was mistaken about the MMANA simulation. The antenna seems to mostly be a cloud warmer according to it...
