This morning I went to the nearby lake. The bicycle lanes are good. There were a couple dump trucks blocking, so I had to stop and take the main part of the road and pedal hard to get out of the way quick. It was cold but I had a good time.

@nelforzo: Good for you! In Europe we also have this problem where people don't see bike lanes as a real thing, and just park there... But I have to say, things are getting better on that front... Doesn't seem to be happening as often these days.

Also, I find that when pedaling, cold isn't as much of a problem that you might think is it when you're not a cyclist!
