the hypnagogia files

there I was, about to head to bed, still hopelessly unable to reach across the Great Chasm, recovering from... nevermind. already far too late, even in the context of my usual sleep schedule, I was wont to fall asleep and forget the thoughts with which my short term memory, as it were, was overflowing- they were hanging on to physical reality by a fine thread. the neural GC had a clean zero, and the one live pointer would die and they would all be gone.

and yet an impulse of (unintentional?) deliberacy emerged from the vaccuum of space rather suddenly, and Great Change was brought about. and so it came to pass that "self" (later "want.gmi") was wrought, and programmed unto the substrate of a NAND flash chip, bound to defeat entropy for at least a human lifetime.

and so the hypnagogia files were born. while I would love to see what actual hypnagogia writing looks like I don't think I can feasibly fall asleep with a keyboard on me, moreover in the right pose so that I can still type and stuff.

I try to edit out the typos and stuff, but the text itself should remain mostly the same. do expect some amount of incoherency and incohesion! (okay, a lot some)
